I'm a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience supporting new moms through their breastfeeding journey. Currently working in one of New York’s leading hospitals, I founded Latch Lady to offer personalized, in-home lactation consultations for families across Long Island.

My approach is gentle, encouraging, and completely judgment-free. Whether you’re struggling with latching, milk supply, or just need reassurance, I’m here to bring expert support right to your doorstep.

My area of expertise is in NICU settings, I am a certified NICU RN and fell in love with the NICU when my triplet niece and nephews were born at 32 weeks over 23 years ago. I haven been supporting mothers in one of the most challenging times of their lives in reaching their goals to provide milk for their fragile NICU baby and get them started on their breastfeeding journey.

What Mothers are Saying…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Working with Christine was one of the most meaningful and impactful experiences of my postpartum journey. At a time when I felt overwhelmed, discouraged, and repeatedly told that exclusively breastfeeding was no longer achievable, Christine became my steady source of hope and reassurance.

Her expertise was evident from the very beginning, but what truly set Christine apart was her compassion. She listened without judgment, met me exactly where I was, and offered clear, evidence-based guidance that restored both my confidence and my sense of control. When others suggested giving up, Christine gently reminded me of my goals and helped me believe in my ability to achieve them.

Because of Christine’s unwavering support, I was able to continue and successfully exclusively breastfeed—something that once felt impossible. She did far more than provide lactation support; she empowered me during one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life. I will always be grateful for the role Christine played in protecting my breastfeeding journey and my emotional well-being. I recommend her without hesitation to any parent seeking knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly transformative care.

Thank you for all you have done for me and my girl! "

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"After my baby was born 2 months premature and spent 6 weeks in NICU I was exclusively pumping with no end in sight. By 4 months my baby was refusing the breast entirely and I thought my dream of breastfeeding her for 2 years would never happen.

Then a friend of mine recommended Christine.  Even just the initial emails and scheduling a home visit came with such ease. Christine has a kind and calming presence which made it feel very natural to have her at home working with me and my baby.  She was very patient with my baby’s refusal and easily able to identify a tongue which had been missed, as well as several preferences my baby had developed which made her more biased towards bottle feeding.

Using this information she was able to recommend different positions and methods of breastfeeding to help my baby get more comfortable with my breast again.

Ultimately, the most valuable thing Christine gave me that day was hope.  In a society where support for breastfeeding mothers is hard to find, Christine gave me the encouragement that kept me from giving up.  She believed I could still do this and so could my baby.  And in time we did.  We are exclusively breastfeeding at 14 months and counting!  Thank you Christine!"
